What Malibu Events Actually Require
Most Malibu venues are private estates or ranch properties without a commercial kitchen, which rules out a lot of caterers. Our carts travel self-contained with the equipment we need, so we're not depending on what's already on site.
Access is the other half. Long private driveways, hillside properties, limited parking and narrow canyon roads all shape when we arrive and where the cart goes. If your event is in a residential zone, the city may require a Special Event Permit and a parking plan — and because Malibu is a high fire risk area, venues sometimes require a fire permit for open-flame cooking. Tell us early and we'll work through it with you and your planner.
